Acknowledgement Of Country

I acknowledge the lands on which I operate are the traditional lands for the Kaurna & Peramangk people and that I respect their spiritual relationship with their Country.  I also acknowledge the Kaurna and Peramangk people as the custodians of these regions and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today. I pay respects to the cultural authority of First Nations people from other areas of South Australia/Australia that I encounter in this work.

Jonathan Breach (he/him)

Neurodivergent-affirming ADHD & Autism Counsellor | Founder of Hive Minds Therapy

As a late-diagnosed AuDHD professional, I established Hive Minds Therapy to provide the authentic, lived-experience mental health support I initially struggled to find myself. I am a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA #26636), specialising in Neuro-affirming therapeutic Counselling, Narrative Therapy, and Geek Therapy for clients in Morphett Vale, Adelaide, Australia nationwide and select International - via telehealth.

Just as I am looking forward to getting to know you and how we might be able to collaborate, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about my journey.

I have held diverse roles in healthcare including the trialing & regulation of medicines for pain, addiction, psychiatry, epilepsy and over-the-counter, and obtained formal qualifications in Medical Sciences and Western Herbal Medicine.

I later shifted to the wine industry for roles in regulation / government advocacy. Something that was profoundly new was being involved in an industry embedded with deep stories & heritage, multigenerational relationships between regional grape grower and winemaking families that embody multicultural Australia. Also of great importance was their delicate relationship with small communities, the land & a rapidly changing climate. All this brought to the fore the difficult mental health burdens experienced by many living in farming communities.

I have long held a strong drive for creative expression from being a musician, writer, table-top RPG games master and bibliophile, and believe the arts & mental health have a critical symbiotic relationship.
